The A.A. Parker found herself sinking in a heavy gale off Grand Marais, Michigan on September 19, 1903. Fortunately the U.S. Life Saving Service installation saw her distress signals, quickly rowed out to the vessel, and saved her entire crew of 18 men and two dogs just as her spar deck slipped beneath the waves.… Read More...
